What QuickSign does
QuickSign is an online digital signing service under Bangladesh Computer Council’s Certifying Authority, BCC-CA. It brings document preparation, signature requests, and signing into a connected workflow.
Instead of printing a document to add a handwritten signature and scanning it again, you can use a certificate-based digital signature. A recipient can check that signature to help establish the signer and detect changes to signed content.
Part of Bangladesh’s digital trust infrastructure
BCC-CA is a government certifying authority under Bangladesh Computer Council. Its published remit includes digital certificates and public key infrastructure services. QuickSign brings that trust infrastructure into the everyday task of signing documents.
QuickPass provides the mobile account and authentication step. You need to prepare your QuickPass account and device before accessing QuickSign.
The legal framework
Bangladesh’s Information and Communication Technology Act, 2006, with applicable amendments, provides a framework for digital signatures and electronic records. The Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA) oversees certifying authorities within that framework.
Document acceptance is specific to its purpose and the organisation receiving it. Check the relevant requirements before replacing a prescribed paper process with a digital one.
For individuals and organisations
Citizens can use the service for documents accepted digitally. Government offices and businesses can use it to support shared signing workflows. BCC-CA also publishes separate API fees for organisations integrating eSign into their systems.
