A clearer path to signing.
Find answers to common questions about getting started, authorising a signature, and checking the result.
What is QuickSign?
QuickSign is the digital signing service from Bangladesh Computer Council’s Certifying Authority (BCC-CA). It lets you prepare documents, request signatures, and digitally sign through an online workflow.
Do I need a QuickPass account?
Yes. You need a QuickPass account to sign in to QuickSign. QuickPass is BCC’s mobile app for passwordless authentication. Register and complete the identity and device setup in QuickPass before signing in.
Is a digital signature the same as a scanned signature?
No. A scanned signature is an image. A certificate-based digital signature connects a signer to a document and helps a verifier detect changes to its signed content.
Are digital signatures legally recognised in Bangladesh?
Bangladesh’s ICT Act, 2006 and its applicable amendments provide a framework for digital signatures and electronic records. Acceptance depends on the transaction, certificate, and applicable requirements. Check with the organisation receiving your document.
How do I verify a signed document?
Use a compatible signature verifier to inspect the signature, certificate status, and document integrity. The Controller of Certifying Authorities provides an official digital signature verification service.
What does QuickSign cost?
BCC-CA publishes separate fees for API services and the QuickSign web application. See the fee tables on the Home page or the official fee schedule. VAT and tax are excluded from the listed per-signature rates.
What if I do not receive an approval request?
Check your phone’s internet connection and QuickPass notification permissions. Open QuickPass and review any pending request. If it still does not appear, contact BCC-CA support; never share your PIN or an approval code.
Can I sign from a different or replacement phone?
Your QuickPass device setup matters for authorisation. Consult BCC-CA’s device registration guidance or contact support before moving to a replacement device.
